Why strain your brain when you can clear your mind?
The basic rules of Advanced Divination are identical to the Original Divination Rules.
The difference is that here you cannot use the Auto or Solve buttons. In addition, the concepts of a closed house, row, and column are introduced.
Unlike in Original Divination Rules, in this version the background of the cards in a closed house, row, or column changes color. The cards themselves also become locked and can no longer be moved.
If a conflict arises with the cards in a closed house or row, you may try to resolve it by moving the still-open cards. However, be prepared for the possibility that you may not be able to complete the solitaire.
